ARC Raiders: Veteran Progress Priorities Before September |

Veteran players in ARC Raiders have a short but important preparation window before September brings another major change to the game. For anyone collecting ARC Raiders BluePrints, rare resources, useful equipment, and limited cosmetics, the next few weeks are a good opportunity to finish unfinished objectives rather than leaving everything until the final days.

The biggest reason to prepare now is the changing Expedition system. Expedition 5 is scheduled to open on September 8, while the larger Frozen Trail update is planned for October 8. Players who have spent months building their collections, including valuable ARC Raiders BluePrints, should review their progress and decide what needs to be completed before these changes arrive.

Finish Phantom Targets Before September 6

The Phantom Targets event should be near the top of every veteran player's list. The event is scheduled to end on September 6, only two days before Expedition 5 opens.

The main objective is to complete Shani's research-related event tasks. These objectives are temporary, so there is little reason to postpone them if you still have unfinished stages.

The most important reward is the Anomalya Outfit. Completing the event unlocks this cosmetic, giving veteran players a limited item to add to their collection. Once the event ends, the opportunity to complete the event is expected to disappear.

For collectors, this is probably the simplest deadline to prioritize. Unlike general resources that can usually be collected later, a limited event reward can be much harder to replace.

Review Your Current Quest Progress

The Expedition system is also changing how quest resets work. Players will no longer be forced into an automatic progression wipe in the same way as before.

Before Expedition 5 arrives, take some time to look through your active storyline and trader objectives. If you have several quests close to completion, finishing them now can give you a cleaner progression point going forward.

Players who choose to preserve their current quest progress can avoid repeating much of the early-game quest grind. That can be especially useful for veterans who have already completed those objectives multiple times.

There is another consideration for players who decide against resetting. Some blueprint unlocks that would traditionally be connected to quest resets are expected to receive alternative unlock methods later. The Hullcracker Blueprint is one example mentioned in the planned changes.

Complete Your Caravan Requirements

Caravan progress deserves attention before the Expedition window changes. Any incomplete Caravan requirements will be wiped and converted into Ermal Vouchers when the relevant transition occurs.

That means players should check what remains and complete as many requirements as practical. Doing this ahead of time ensures you are ready to manually register when the September 8 departure window becomes available.

This preparation also gives you a reason to organize your inventory. Valuable blueprints, crafting materials, and strong loadout equipment should be separated from items that no longer have much value.

Stash rewards from previous runs can accumulate up to a maximum of 60 slots, so efficient storage management can make a noticeable difference when preparing for another major progression stage.

Maximize Useful Buffs

Veteran players should also look at seasonal Trials and consecutive gameplay bonuses. Several of these buffs can improve Repair Value, Scrappy Materials, and XP gains.

Consecutive bonuses can reach three stacked levels. If you are already close to the maximum, completing the remaining runs before the Expedition pause makes sense. These bonuses can remain useful during the period when Expeditions are unavailable.

There is also a long-term cosmetic goal connected to Expedition completion. Reaching five completed Expeditions out of five is required to permanently unlock the complete Zenith Evolved Outfit.

Final Preparation Before September

The most practical approach is to handle the deadlines in order. Complete Phantom Targets before September 6, review your quest progress, finish Caravan requirements, and organize the materials and gear you want to carry into the next stage.

If your inventory is missing a few important pieces for your preferred loadouts, this is also a sensible time to consider options that can help you prepare. Players looking to strengthen their collection can use U4N when they want to buy ARC Raiders Gear without interrupting their preparation plans.

The September transition is more significant than an ordinary monthly change. Expedition 5 is expected to be the final departure window before the feature enters an extended break until 2027, so completing your current objectives now can save considerable time later. A little preparation before September can leave your Raider in a much better position when the next major content phase begins.
